Where to watch Total Kombat 2 on TV
The underground combat sports phenomenon hits UK screens this Saturday, 13 September, with the live broadcast of Total Kombat 2 on ITVX, the flagship streaming service with over 40 million subscribers.
Developed by veteran television producers alongside world champion martial artists — including British UFC star Michael “Venom” Page (“MVP”), known for his unconventional striking style — Total Kombat is a fan-driven promotion shaped around the demands of global fight audiences.
The rules are simple: it’s striking only. Wrestling and ground fighting are off-limits, giving athletes from around the world — Olympians, black belts, and UFC veterans among them — the chance to unleash their most explosive stand-up techniques.
This weekend marks the first time ITVX has ever shown a live full-contact martial arts event. A replay will also be made available on demand.
The show kicks off live at 6:30pm, headlined by Team GB karateka Jordan Thomas, with former UFC fighter Dean Barry set for the co-main event. Coverage will be fronted by veteran broadcaster Paul Dempsey, joined by US play-by-play commentator Ben “Bane” Davis, while two-time Olympic medalist Bianca Walkden provides reporting backstage.
MVP’s new production company, In The Moment Productions (ITM), will also play a prominent role, with branding and creative integration throughout the broadcast.
“ITVX is one of the UK’s premier broadcast destinations and we’re proud to be partnering with a network of this stature for Total Kombat 2. The event is built to deliver non-stop highlights and entertainment and we’re excited to bring that experience to millions of households across the country on Saturday 13 September,” said Total Kombat president Lee Matthews, a Parachute Regiment veteran and lifelong martial artist.
Michael “Venom” Page said, “I’ve created some of the most viral moments in combat sports history and a lot of that is down to my karate background. Total Kombat is a platform for the new generation of martial arts strikers to showcase themselves. I’d definitely have fought here if it existed when I was beginning my rise and I think it’s going to be a huge hit with fans.”
Richard Botchway, Commissioning Editor at ITV, added: “We're excited to bring all of the action of Total Kombat live from London on ITVX this Saturday. Total Kombat displays the very best athletes in underground combat sports and we're delighted to partner with them in a first for ITVX.”
Total Kombat 2 takes place at The Indigo at The O2, London, airing live and exclusively on ITVX from 6:30pm, Saturday 13 September.
