Fresh from winning Best Comedy Entertainment Programme at the Royal Television Society Awards for its spin-off Junior Taskmaster, and earning its fifth BAFTA nomination for 2025 (having previously taken home the award), the international comedy hit is back with more hilarious challenges and glorious chaos.
This new series welcomes five brave and funny minds ready to battle it out: comedian and writer Fatiha El-Ghorri (Live at the Apollo, BBC), American comedian, actor and podcaster Jason Mantzoukas (Big Mouth, Netflix), actor and writer Mathew Baynton (Ghosts, BBC One), podcaster and broadcaster Rosie Ramsey (Sh**ged. Married. Annoyed), and comedian, actor and podcaster Stevie Martin (Starstruck, BBC/HBO Max). Only one will claim victory—and pretend to be modest about it.
Little Alex Horne has buffed up a new golden head of the Taskmaster himself, Greg Davies, who returns to dispense judgement, points, and the usual mix of bemusement and brilliance.
Taskmaster remains one of Channel 4’s youngest-skewing shows, with almost a quarter of last year’s viewers aged 16–34 across both broadcast and streaming. In 2024, it ranked among the top five most-streamed shows on Channel 4.
Catch the new series of Taskmaster from Thursday 1 May at 9pm on Channel 4, or stream it on demand.
