Pop Culture News: Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 9pm is the date set for the premiere of James Norton's new ITV drama, 'Playing Nice'.
ITV today confirmed that James Norton’s new ITV thriller ‘Playing Nice’ will launch at 9pm on Sunday 5 January, 2025.
Produced by STUDIOCANAL and RABBIT TRACK PICTURES, Playing Nice is a gripping four-part series adapted by Malpractice writer Grace Ofori-Attah from the best-selling novel by acclaimed British thriller author JP Delaney.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Cornish coastline, the series delves into the harrowing lives of two couples who discover their toddlers were switched at birth due to a shocking hospital mix-up. Faced with an unthinkable decision, the couples must grapple with whether to keep the sons they've loved and raised or reclaim their biological children.
The drama follows Pete (James Norton) and Maddie (Niamh Algar), who find themselves thrust into the lives of Miles (James McArdle) and Lucy (Jessica Brown Findlay), the other couple involved in this devastating ordeal.
What begins as an agreement on the best course of action quickly unravels as hidden agendas and buried secrets emerge. Trust becomes a fragile commodity, not just between the couples but within their own relationships.
As Pete and Maddie’s lives spiral out of control, they’re forced to confront just how far they are willing to go to protect their family. Playing Nice promises to be an emotional rollercoaster, blending heart-wrenching dilemmas with suspenseful twists, ensuring viewers are kept on the edge of their seats.
