Triwizard Tournament – Making of Champions is coming to Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London this May
In Harry Potter’s fourth year at Hogwarts, he’s unexpectedly chosen to compete in the legendary Triwizard Tournament—despite being too young to qualify. As part of the high-stakes competition, Harry faces a series of daunting challenges: battling a fire-breathing dragon, diving into the depths of the Black Lake to rescue his friends, and navigating treacherous obstacles along the way.
This summer, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London invites fans behind the scenes of the Triwizard Tournament to uncover how filmmakers brought the thrilling event to life. Running from 15th May to 8th September 2025, Triwizard Tournament – Making of Champions will reveal never-before-seen secrets from the set.
For the first time ever, the Studio Tour will unveil its brand-new Backlot Stage, a purpose-built indoor venue featuring a digital screen, live stage, and tiered seating. Here, visitors will discover the Secrets of Special Effects used to create the Tournament’s most memorable scenes—from animating the fearsome Hungarian Horntail to showing how Harry managed to breathe underwater during the second task.
Fans of The Goblet of Fire will relive iconic moments as the three magical schools—Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang—compete for glory. The Tour will recreate the dramatic arrivals of the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang students, complete with their distinctive costumes, including flowing blue gowns and fur-lined cloaks.
New immersive features will also be introduced throughout the Studio Tour. Visitors can take part in the magic by placing their name into the Goblet of Fire, found in the wand room, using the free Activity Passport. Guests can also experience Mad-Eye Moody’s first appearance in the Great Hall, and meet gossip-loving journalist Rita Skeeter with her infamous self-writing quill. In the Forbidden Forest, fans will witness the key moment when Hagrid reveals the first task to Harry.
All these exciting additions are included in the regular ticket price—making it a must-visit event for every wizarding world enthusiast.
