Fan Favourite TV Shopping channel task is back on 'The Apprentice' this week
Fans of 'The Apprentice' will be thrilled to learn the iconic TV Shopping channel task returns this Thursday.
The Apprentice 2025 series continues this Thursday night at 9pm, with the return of the much-loved TV shopping task.
Yes, it’s week nine and the stakes have never been higher. It’s the task that viewers watch through their fingers, as they cringe watching some terrible efforts of presenting on highly pressured, live TV. Sadly, Lord Sugar’s Aides Karren Brady and Tim Campbell had to be there in person to watch the pitiful efforts play out in front of the camera.
Some of the team’s choices of products are questionable to start with and then viewers can expect meltdowns behind the scenes, as tempers flare in the gallery.
Lord Sugar says: “You start off observing certain people thinking, “wow, this one’s very good, that one knows their stuff”. You're making an early impression of them, but as time goes by, others grow on you. You start to see the real contenders - what I would call the cream - rising to the top. The thing for me is I want to see that they understand what it is I’m looking for without me having to spoon feed them; do they understand the purpose of the task, do they have that instinct I’m looking for?”.
Tim Campbell says: “I think it’s a credit to the BBC, the production team and Lord Sugar, in terms of his gravitas, that we've got 18 credible, diverse candidates from all viable business backgrounds. The reality is that if you look back over all previous series, we've got to the final stages with incredible business people who run successful businesses and I think we've got more this time. So, we're really, really lucky that in the midst of lots of shows maybe going different ways, we've maintained that level of credibility”.
After last week’s appalling results, the pressure on the candidates is at boiling point.
After the main show, remember to turn to BBC Two for ‘You’re Fired’.
