More than five years after their Grecian adventure, Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon return in The Trip to the Northern Lights — the highly anticipated fifth chapter of the award-winning, critically lauded Sky Original comedy series. Once again helmed by acclaimed British director Michael Winterbottom (This England, 24 Hour Party People), this new six-part installment swaps sun-soaked coastlines for the stark, breathtaking landscapes of Northern Europe. What unfolds is a hilariously indulgent odyssey through Scandinavia, filled with fine dining, sharp banter, and the pursuit of the mysterious Aurora Borealis.

Rob, now 60, and Steve — still clinging to 59 — embark on a journey through the remote reaches of northern Europe, from architecturally striking Swedish lodgings to isolated Norwegian fishing cabins. Along the way, they dish out their signature mix of clever quips, comic rivalry, and self-aware musings. Their reflections — on aging, ambition, family, and fame — are filtered, of course, through their favorite subject: themselves. Expect debates on everything from podcast feuds and BAFTA bragging rights to Bond versus Bergman and the prospect of retirement.

Part comedy, part travel diary, part existential road trip, The Trip to the Northern Lights captures Coogan and Brydon at their delightfully combative, irresistibly entertaining peak.
