The wait is over—The Paper has landed! Fans can finally watch the new comedy from the creators of The Office on Sky TV and NOW in the UK or in Peacock in the US.
Created by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman, the mockumentary series features an impressive ensemble cast led by Domhnall Gleeson (The Patient).
A production source revealed: “The documentary crew that immortalised Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch in the Emmy Award-winning series The Office find a new subject when they discover a historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it.”
Our insider added: "Fans have been waiting with bated breath to find out where the show will air in the UK, and they will be pleased to know that their demand for answers has led to The Paper finding its home exclusively on Sky and NOW."
When asked for comment, Katie Keenan, Group Director of Acquisitions for Sky, said: “Our ambition to bring the best US content to Sky and NOW continues as we very excitingly have acquired The Paper from our partners at NBCU and Peacock. Fans of The Office can expect a fresh twist this September, as the original documentary crew turn their lens to the world of publishing.”
Katie added: “Now, please get off my doorstep!”
As part of the acquisition deal, Sky has also extended rights to The Office (US), which will remain available to stream on Sky and NOW.
The series stars Domhnall Gleeson alongside Sabrina Impacciatore (The White Lotus), Chelsea Frei (The Moodys), Melvin Gregg (Nine Perfect Strangers), Gbemisola Ikumelo (Brain In Gear), Alex Edelman (Teenage Bounty Hunters), Ramona Young (Man Seeking Woman), Tim Key (The Ballad of Wallis Island), and Oscar Nuñez (The Office).
For US viewers, The Paper will be available to stream on Peacock.
