Take That add extra dates to 2026 tour
Take That have added extra dates in Manchester, Coventry and London for The Circus 2026 tour, a re-working of their classic 2009 tour, following massive demand for tickets this morning.
As we exclusively revealed earlier in the week, the band booked additional dates at the stadiums, as pre-sale demand went through the roof.
Tickets for the tour went on sale at 9am this morning, whilst Gary, Mark and Howard were live on BBC Radio 2. “It’s very, very exciting” they told Sara Cox. “We said that, if there’s ever a tour we would do again, it would be that one. Fans always say they want The Circus”.
“The feeling for us is we were on the road for nine months last year and for any band they’d go ‘that’s enough’. We hit the start of the year and thought ‘we don’t want to not tour next year, we want to do something’…. we’re part of the show, so we can say it’s a great, amazing show and we’re in the middle of it”.
A statement released by the band’s management reads: ““Originally staged in 2009, The Circus Live broke UK records as the fastest-selling tour in history, with over 600,000 tickets sold in under five hours, and over one million fans attending the sell-out shows across the UK and Ireland.
“Now, more than 17 years later, Take That are ready to bring the magic back for a whole new generation of fans, and for those who were there the first time, with the chance to revisit one of the most groundbreaking live productions in UK pop history - bigger and bolder than ever!”
It now means they’ll perform at least 16 dates starting Friday 29 May and ending Saturday 4 July.
