The full trailer for James Gunn’s upcoming ‘Superman’ movie has been released today, and you can now watch it, below.

Warner Bros. Pictures will bring Superman, the first feature film from the newly established DC Studios, to theaters across the globe this summer. Directed by James Gunn, the film reintroduces the iconic superhero in a bold new light—blending grand-scale action with humor and emotional depth. This reimagined Superman is defined by empathy and a steadfast belief in humanity’s potential for good.

Produced by DC Studios co-chairs Peter Safran and Gunn, Superman is based on characters from DC Comics and draws inspiration from the original creation by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Gunn also penned the screenplay.

David Corenswet (Twisters, Hollywood) takes on the iconic dual role of Clark Kent/Superman, with Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) starring as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult (X-Men, Juror #2) as the villainous Lex Luthor.

The ensemble cast also features Edi Gathegi (For All Mankind), Anthony Carrigan (Barry, Gotham), Nathan Fillion (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Suicide Squad), Isabela Merced (Alien: Romulus), Skyler Gisondo (Licorice Pizza, Booksmart), Sara Sampaio (At Midnight), María Gabriela de Faría (The Moodys), Wendell Pierce (Selma, Jack Ryan), Alan Tudyk (Andor), Pruitt Taylor Vince (Bird Box), and Neva Howell (Greedy People).

Executive producers include Nikolas Korda, Chantal Nong Vo, and Lars Winther. Behind the scenes, Gunn reunites with frequent collaborators: cinematographer Henry Braham, production designer Beth Mickle, costume designer Judianna Makovsky, and composer John Murphy. Editing duties are handled by Craig Alpert (Deadpool 2, Blue Beetle), Jason Ballantine (IT, The Flash), and William Hoy (The Batman).

Superman will debut in theaters and IMAX across the U.S. on July 11, 2025, with international releases beginning July 9, 2025.
