Rob Brydon to host The Floor
ITV today announced Rob Brydon will host new primetime game show, The Floor.
Rob Brydon is to front ITV’s much-anticipated primetime launch of The Floor. Known for his sharp wit and charm in hits such as Gavin & Stacey, Would I Lie to You?, and The Trip, Rob is set to bring his unique flair to the high-energy, high-stakes world of this dynamic quiz show.
In The Floor, 81 trivia enthusiasts go head-to-head in a battle of knowledge on a vast LED floor divided into 81 squares, each representing a distinct subject area. The aim is simple: dominate the board and walk away with a major cash prize.
Each round sees a randomly chosen contestant challenge a neighbouring player in a quiz face-off, with questions based on the category of the defender’s square. Victory means gaining control of the square and expanding territory, while defeat means elimination. As the competition unfolds across ten gripping episodes, the challenges intensify – until just one contestant remains to claim £50,000.
With Rob Brydon at the helm, audiences can expect unmissable entertainment, packed with suspense, lively interaction, and plenty of play-along moments at home.
