Heart is now the biggest radio brand in the UK.
Heart is now the biggest radio brand in the UK, having overtaken BBC Radio 2 in the latest official RAJAR figures, out today.
The national station celebrates another new record with 13.4 million weekly listeners, adding nearly 1 million listeners in the last year.
Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden is the UK’s largest commercial breakfast show with a record-breaking 4.3 million listeners.
In contrast, Radio 2 has lost 360,000 listeners to the breakfast show, since Zoe Ball left in December.

Elsewhere, other Global stations like Radio X and Capital have also enjoyed bumper listening figures int he last quarter.

Smooth celebrates with 7.8 million weekly listeners
An eighth record-breaking quarter for the Radio X brand, now reaching 2.5 million weekly listeners, with 1 million listening to Chris Moyles at breakfast.
More people are listening to Classic FM as it increases its audience to 4.7 million weekly listeners.
