Preview: Iain Stirling's Roast The Internet starts TONIGHT
Comedy Central UK is kicking off a brand-new comedy series tonight at 9pm with Iain Stirling’s Roast the Internet, fronted by the much-loved comedian and presenter himself.
This studio-based entertainment show dives headfirst into the very worst content the web has to offer – at least the parts safe enough for TV. Each week, Iain will be joined by a rotating panel of three well-known guests, including comics, influencers, and TV personalities, as they take aim at viral clips, baffling posts, and ridiculous online trends. Together, they’ll share their biggest online gripes while also offering hilariously inventive “fixes” for the digital chaos.
Expect outrageous footage, sharp banter, and plenty of top-class comedy performances, as Iain and his celebrity guests gleefully bring the internet down a notch – all while secretly hoping their own takedowns go viral.
Host Iain Stirling said, “I’m so excited to be involved in this project which allows me to collaborate with some of my favourite people in TV (and the internet) and lets me doom-scroll TikTok while calling it work!”
Luke Hales, SVP Content & Brand Strategy, MTV Entertainment Studios UK, Australia & Canada, added, "The internet is a chaotic, ridiculous place, and who better to make sense of it all for us than Iain Stirling? With his unique comedy voice at the heart of the show and a brilliant lineup of guests, this series is packed with laughs – a real treat for our audiences on Comedy Central UK."
For the premiere episode, Iain welcomes Joe Thomas, London Hughes, and Harriet Kemsley to the panel. Together, they’ll deliver the first round of brutal – and very funny – takedowns of the weirdest corners of the web.
