Louis Tomlinson heads for Top 10 as new project with Zayn is revealed
It's a big week for Louis Tomlinson with a Top 10 single expected on Sunday and a new Netflix project with Zayn Malik also announced.
According to reports, the One Direction stars are teaming up for a new travel documentary series, which will launch next year. A source tells The Sun: “This will be an absolutely huge show for Netflix and is guaranteed to whip 1D’s global army of fans into a frenzy. Although the idea of British boyband members doing a show about travelling across America sounds random, most of them now have strong links Stateside.
“And it’s likely to be a chance for some serious soul-searching and deep discussions about the incredible journey the group have already been on since they were formed on The X Factor 15 years ago.”
Both stars have signed contracts with millions of pounds to participate in the project. According to Metro, it will be directed by Nicola Marsh, who is known for the 2022 Netflix documentary Stay on Board.
The new series, which has already began filming, will coincide with huge music projects from both of its stars. Zayn has already announces new music and a residency in Vegas, whilst Louis has just announced his new album and a 2026 World Tour.
Earlier this week, Louis dropped his brand new single "Lemonade", the first track from his third album. According to live data, he's set to enter the Official Big Top 40 top ten on Sunday. Listen via Global Player from 4pm to find out how he does.
