Comic Relief 2025: Alison Hammond, Gladiators, Strictly and more confirmed
Details of this year's Comic Relief have been confirmed by the BBC, with Alison Hammond joining a star-studded lineup of presenters hosting the BBC One special on Friday 21 March.
Alison will host proceedings alongside Emma Willis, Davina McCall, Joel Dommett, Alison Hammond, Rylan Clark, Jonathan Ross, Alesha Dixon, Tom Allen, Asim Chaudhry and AJ Odudu.
Broadcast life from Media City in Salford, the hosts will introduce exclusive sketches from viewer favourites including Strictly Come Dancing, The Gladiators, Not Going Out and Beyond Paradise. Plus, special guests Sugababes will be performing live.
The Rock Choir will also perform, singing a moving rendition of Keane's classic Somewhere Only We Know, and a host of 80s legends will open the show with a medley of hit tracks from the decade.
We’ll see Billy Monger and Jamie Laing return after their epic challenges and a very special fashion show that you won’t want to miss!

When the 10 O'Clock News airs, Comic Relief continues for 30 minutes on BBC Two, when Tom Allen and AJ Odudu continue the fundraising fun with the winner of BBC New Comedy Awards 2024 performing a very special set. Viewers will also be treated to a live performance from the cast of the hit musical Titanique and Sugababes return to the stage again to perform their new track alongside a medley of classics.
Then at 10:40pm, there's a special show on BBC One celebrating 40 years of Comic Relief. Emma Willis and Asim Chaudhry introduce classic sketches from French and Saunders, Alan Partridge, Mr Bean and there's a look back at contributions from Peter Kay, Catherine Tate and James Corden’s Smithy.
They'll also look back on some of the special Comic Relief singles which have raised so much money over the last four decades.
Throughout the night, there will of course also be films highlighting incredible and inspiring stories of the people supported by some of Comic Relief’s projects in the UK and around the world.
