The three day festival takes place at Sefton Park in Liverpool on Friday 23 to Sunday 25 May, 2025.

The booking process will be managed by Ticketmaster, the only official ticketing agent for Radio 1’s Big Weekend.
When will tickets for BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend be available?
Tickets for this event will be available from Thursday 13th March at 17:00.
How much are tickets for BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend?
34,500 General Admission tickets will be available each day, priced at £33.00 (+£4.50 booking fee per ticket) per day.
1,500 VIP tickets will be available each day, priced at £95.00 (+£5.70 booking fee per ticket) per day.
You may purchase a maximum of two tickets for a single day, but not for multiple days. This restriction is in place to ensure as many people as possible have a fair chance to buy tickets. Refunds will only be considered if the event is cancelled or postponed.
What does the VIP ticket include?
VIP ticket holders will benefit from a dedicated entrance and exclusive access to the VIP area, which includes a bar with drink options, a DJ playing hit tracks, gourmet food vendors, and premium restroom facilities. You’ll also receive a souvenir Radio 1 Big Weekend lanyard upon entry.
To purchase a VIP ticket, you must be aged 18 or over. Anyone under 18 will not be permitted into the VIP area.

Age Restrictions
For General Admission tickets, those aged 15 or under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over at all times. If you are under 18, please ensure you have permission from your parent or guardian to attend. Children aged 2 or under do not require a ticket but must be under the care of an adult aged 18 or over.
To purchase a VIP ticket, you must be aged 18 or over, and anyone under 18 will not be allowed into the VIP area. ID checks will be conducted for all VIP and General Admission ticket holders upon entry. Accepted forms of ID include: a valid passport, a valid photocard driving licence, or a valid photographic identity card with the National Proof Of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) hologram.
We enforce a Challenge 25 policy, so all ticket holders may be asked for ID to verify their age when purchasing alcohol.
Anyone who violates the rules and regulations governing the ticket purchase process may have their tickets cancelled without notice.
Opening Times
Opening times for all days will be confirmed in due course.
Events will finish no later than 22:00 on all days.
How are tickets allocated?
General Admission Tickets will be divided into three ‘pots’:
Pot 1: 50% of General Admission tickets will initially be reserved for Liverpool City Council residents. These tickets will be reserved for seven days after release. After that, any unsold tickets will be offered for general sale.
Pot 2: 40% of General Admission tickets will be reserved for residents from the surrounding Liverpool City Region (Sefton, Halton, Wirral, Knowsley, St. Helens). These tickets will be reserved for seven days after release, after which any unsold tickets will be available for general sale.
Pot 3: The remaining 10% of General Admission tickets will be available for anyone in the UK to purchase.
To secure tickets from Pots 1 and 2, you will need to enter your home postcode at the time of purchase. Anyone who violates the ticket purchasing rules and regulations may have their tickets cancelled without notice.
VIP tickets are unreserved and are only available to those aged 18 and over.
Ticket Restrictions
You may purchase a maximum of two tickets for a single day, but not for multiple days.
Please note that any transactions detected as bot purchases, or actions such as creating duplicate accounts to purchase more than the ticket limit, will result in the cancellation of your tickets.

What if you are unable to attend?
If you are unable to attend, you may be able to sell your tickets at face value through Ticketmaster’s Fan to Fan resale function during the resale window. Fan to Fan resales will open once all tickets have sold out and will close at midday on Friday 16th May 2025. With these exceptions, tickets may not be sold, traded, or offered for sale.
