Blue Lights Series Three: First Look at the Acclaimed Crime Drama’s Return
The BBC has released the first trailer for season 3 of Blue Lights.
Two years into their careers as response officers, Grace, Annie, and Tommy have grown used to the relentless pace of life on the front line. But in the third series of Blue Lights, their duties pull them into an unsettling underworld that lurks behind the polished image of middle-class respectability — a world driven by accountants and lawyers who keep organised crime alive. With old power structures crumbling, Belfast now faces a new global network of gangs, and the threat is closer than ever for the officers in blue.
Blue Lights continues to be produced by Two Cities Television in collaboration with Gallagher Films for BBC iPlayer and BBC One. The gripping, critically acclaimed series features Siân Brooke (Grace), Martin McCann (Stevie), Katherine Devlin (Annie), Nathan Braniff (Tommy), Joanne Crawford (Helen), Andi Osho (Sandra), Frank Blake (Shane), Abigail McGibbon (Tina), Dearbháile McKinney (Aisling), and Andrea Irvine (Nicola).
Joining the cast this season are Cathy Tyson (Boiling Point, Dune: Prophecy), who takes on the role of Dana Morgan, a private members club owner, and Michael Smiley (Bad Sisters, Censor), appearing as new intelligence officer Paul ‘Colly’ Collins.
